If you do "bread & butter" payed pro work speed may be essential. But they may be more of a hurdle to get the feeling about my images and process that I'm looking for.Įverybody is different. Getting inspiration and learning the tools, styles packages can have positive impact, I guess. So - in the end I edit all images that I think are worth it manually. Pre-made styles may speed-up the work, but using them simply don't make me feel the same.

I think working at an image is discovering, developing and deepening a relationship to myself - maybe I could say my artistic self. My edited results often show more slight transitions and softness but maybe also more details and mood than punchy images. But most of the time it to my taste shows too much contrast and doesn't offer the balance in hues, brightness and saturation that fit's my vision of a special subject or scenery. Sometimes I use the general auto development functionality.
